If I really wanted to, I could write a book about how perfect this morning has been.
R & L reunited, brunch in the country and some music that actually painted a permanent picture on our hearts.
Take a few moments and learn their story. For at least a short while, everything will feel as it should…alive and free.
“Each song is an intimate conversation, and no third wheels or dinner-party chatter are going to interrupt that gorgeous, haunting hush.”

Have you danced to this song yet?
You totally should.
Wherever home is, this song makes you celebrate the feeling of belonging,
makes you crave that one sacred place.
It makes you realize the happy space that, fail you not,
puts a smile on your face.
Where is your home?
It’s not always the roof above your head,
or the ground that holds your bed.
But likely in the presence of a friend,
or with nature beside a riverbend.
It’s the place you adore the most,
or in the arms that hold you close.
It’s the place you raise a toast,
the place of which you boast.
Home is a smile,
it’s the little nook just down the road a mile.
Home is where your heart is,
no matter where that tis.

Day 1 of 100 begins today.
100 Days to travel, explore, distinguish, ingest information and inspiration, laugh, cry, learn, and love. I can’t tell you how long it seems I’ve been waiting for an adventure like this…but I can definitely say it was worth the wait. All of the hard work is about to pay off, and I am overwhelmed with excitement, curiosity, and surrealism. Is this really happening? Am I really about to see the World? I feel lucky, slightly terrified, and free all at the same time. Talk about a whirlwind!
I found this quote yesterday at my yoga studio…could it be more perfect?
“We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures that we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open.” – Jawaharial Nehru
On this trip, I will live with my eyes and heart open. I will take it all in, and accept all that the World is willing to offer me.

Ever come across an article or a story that brings you back to life? Reminds you that you’re not crazy, and that dreams really are meant to be chased?
I got lucky this afternoon when I stumbled upon Lindsey Adelman’s work. If you’re looking for a little extra inspiration I suggest taking a peak.
Something about glass blowing has tweaked my interests…Let the research begin – I’ll let you know what I find!

I happily stumbled upon this green grafiti recipe, and think it’s probably best for everyone to give it a go. Talk about giving your garden a personal touch, an artsy feel, and enhancing that intimate outdoor living space. Love this easy (and cheap) DIY project for any backyard dweller!
All that’s required is simply adding one can of cheap beer (or substitute with 1 1/2 cups of buttermilk), a few healthy handfuls of moss, and 1 teaspoon of sugar to a blender. Once you attain a paint like texter, use a paint brush to “grafiti” your garden wall of choice. Spritz with water daily, until you see your art begin to grow. Easy peasy!
